About Quint
Quinton Unruh led a large life.
His heart was enormous and so was his laugh. His physical size and strength paired perfectly with an amazing sense of humor. He was outgoing and the life of every gathering.
He always encouraged others to be the best versions of themselves, a belief he held himself to every day. He challenged norms, was open to change, and always questioned the status quo. He told his kids daily “Always wonder and ask questions.”
People who needed help had a friend in Quint.
He gave love abundantly. With immense energy and presence, he was easy to notice when he walked into a room.
The Quinton Unruh Memorial Grant honors Quint by giving to a person who lives life with his values and passion. The grant is not a scholarship. It can be used for school, but also can be used to pursue excellence and impact outside the classroom, just like Quint did every day.
